Welcome to the Club

One of the most underrated and discredited genres ever, as was well in the 00′ years is contaminating all musical currents.

Honestly, Nevermind is among the records that best represents the marriage of electronic music and the mainstream world; a journey in which words are put aside to leave room for emotion led by instrumentals.

The album is produced by Black Coffee with the participation of Gordo, Rampa, &ME and Alex Lustig.

Nowadays we are used to listening to words, words and words…this is because we are too superficial, we need something material and physical to excite us, we no longer get excited by watching the sunrise, nature, listening to a sound, we look for someone to inculcate emotions in us.

Music has now become flat, monotonous, the same words are repeated over and over again, what if from now on we were the ones speaking ? What if we let the instrumentals guide this journey of emotions ?

Well, this is what happens in the clubs and this is exactly where Drake with this album wants to catapult us, a reality targeted negatively by everyone, but which actually holds a unique experiences.

‘Melancholy’ is the emotional center of the tracks, but, as it happens for example in “Massive”, it seems made especially for dancing alone in a crowd, to focus on the body more than the mind.

We like to read that the mission of this album is to let everyone know what is behind the club steriotype, in the end the album is dedicated to Virgil Abloh and who better than him has fought to bring up the name of club culture.
